The Western Lacrosse Association has announced that Victoria Shamrocks Goalie Peter Dubenski has been named WLA Goalie of the Week for the week ending July 22, 2019. 

Initially acquired for just a third-round pick on May 25th, the Shamrocks have leaned on Dubenski quite a bit in recent weeks to secure home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. This past week, Dubenski went 2-0 with an 0.868 SV%, giving up just ten goals. This season, Dubenski is 6-2 in nine games played with a 7.41 GAA and 0.827 SV%. 

Catch Dubenski and the Shamrocks as they hit the road this week, taking on New West Thursday and Coquitlam on Saturday. Both games will be live on WLA TV, and with Victoria clinching a postseason spot, Shamrocks playoff tickets go on sale Tuesday morning. Get yours before they are sold out!
