Friday night will be a fun night in the WLA as the Victoria Shamrocks host the Coquitlam Adanacs for the last time in 2019. The Shamrocks enter the night with a record of 9-5 and a chance to be tied for first with a win tonight. The Adanacs are currently 3-12 with just 6 points, but all three of their wins have come on the road this season.

The Adanacs are on a two-game losing streak as their last win was an 8-6 victory against the Nanaimo Timbermen on July 7. Since then, they dropped a 16-5 contest against the Salmonbellies on July 11 and fell 9-5 in a rematch against the Timbermen last Saturday. In their previous meeting against the Shamrocks, Victoria won in a decisive 14-6 game back on June 21. Matt Delmonico is the name to know for Coquitlam as he leads the Adanacs in scoring with 44 points but has just three points in his last two games.

Victoria is coming off a statement win against Maple Ridge Sunday where the Shamrocks put up 13 goals for the second time in their last three games. Chris Boushy leads the Rocks with 27 goals this season as he’s scored four goals in three of his previous four games. In net, the platoon of Cody Hagedorn and Peter Dubenski has been fantastic for the Rocks. Combined, they average just shy of 8 goals against per game (7.99) with an 0.834 SV%. Either one of them gives them a chance to win when starting.
