Date:  Source: New Jersey Jackals

The Capitales defeated the Jackals 10-5 at Yogi Berra Stadium on Tuesday night. Lendy Castillo started for the Jackals and recorded the loss. Castillo went six innings and only gave up three runs.

The Jackals bullpen allowed the game to get out of hand late, giving up seven runs in the final three frames.

New Jersey never led in this game, but they stayed within striking distance until the ninth. Marte continued his hot play of late, homering in the first and ripping a single in the ninth. Newly acquired Issac Wenrich went 3-3 with a homerun and two singles.

Quebec scored 10 runs on 14 hits. 6 walks and 2 errors surrendered by the Jackals helped the Capitales extend their lead late in the game. Max Kuhns recorded the win and Dustin Molleken picked up a 6 out save.

The Jackals look to win the series Wednesday night at Yogi Berra Stadium.
