BRANTFORD’S PACE COMMITTED TO WISCONSIN-SUPERIOR

Jon Pace of the 2018-19 Brantford 99ers (photo credit – Dave Fryer/OJHL Images) has confirmed his commitment to join the NCAA DIII University of Wisconsin-Superior Yellow Jackets beginning with the 2019-20 season.

The 21-year-old defenceman from Hamilton had seven goals and 17 assists in 49 games in Brantford last season.

In 2017-18, Pace had 11 assists during 54 games with Trenton of the OJHL.

He played minor midget with the Southern Tier Admirals, before launching his junior career with the Jr C Hagersville Hawks. He also played Jr. B in Brantford and Caledonia.

The OJHL, the largest Jr. A hockey league in Canada, has had more than 100 commitments to NCAA, U Sports and OHL teams in 2018-19.
