Grayden Gottschalk (photo credit – Christian Bender/OJHL Images) is the 10th member of the 2018-19 North York Rangers to commit to an NCAA or U Sports school.

The Most Gentlemanly Player in the Ontario Junior Hockey League in 2018-19, Gottschalk  will join the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks in Waterloo beginning with the 2019-20 season.

The 6-4 forward enjoyed his best campaign, in his third season with the Rangers. He recorded a team-high 25 goals and 46 points, which sat second on the team in 52 regular season games.

Grayden also led in the locker room being named captain of the North York. He believes Laurier is the best fit for him to continue to grow on and off the ice.

The 21-year-old spent three of the last four years with North York, compiling 62 goals and 66 assists for 128 points in 152 games. He spent an entire season in between (2016-2017) on the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League.

Prior to starting his Rangers journey, the Thornhill, Ont., native dominated AAA. He posted 35 goals and 37 assists for 72 points in 68 games with the Richmond Hill Coyotes AAA of the ETAHL.

Congratulations to Grayden and best of luck in U Sports!
