New Jersey Snaps Losing Skid

Date:  Source: New Jersey Jackals

On a beautiful night for a game at Yogi Berra Stadium, the Jackals welcomed the Rockland Boulders to town.  The Jackals were able to snap their five game losing streak by picking up a 5-3 victory on Friday night.

Justin Brantley picked up the win of the mound and now has a two and one record on the year. The pitching on Friday was strong for the Jackals only allowing three runs.  Brantley had six strikeouts, Dylan Brammer had four, Javier Reynoso had one, while Lendy Castillo stuck out three batters with authority to lock in the victory.

Richard Stock continued to show that he will never let up and knocked in another RBI in the first inning, making it his 22nd of the season.  He currently leads the Can-Am League.

In the bottom of the 7th, Conrad Gregor pressed on his great start to the season with a solo home run in the 7th making the score 5-3, flipping his bat with absolute authority, earning him the honor of PSEG power player of the game.

The momentum completely swung in the Jackals favor and they picked up a victory in the first game of a three game set against Rockland. The series continues Saturday night back in Little Falls for game two at 6:05 P.M.
