Soo Minor Baseball has begun the construction of one of their 2019 capital projects. 

On April 17, 2019, Avery Construction began the demolition of the first base dugout on Ram Field.  It's the second phase to replacing and backing up the old concrete dugouts that were originally built in 1993.  The third base dugout was replaced in 2017 and the first base dugout is being replaced this spring.  The project will be completed in time for the Open League season opener on May 21, 2019.

The second capital project this summer is to fix the Jeep dugouts and add a concrete pad in the dugouts and to make Jeep Field accessible for people with physical disabilities so we can begin a Challenger Baseball League.
