Bloomington, IN—The accolades keep coming in for Christian Schurmann-Colicchio. IU’s all-time leading goal scorer was named as a member of the First-Team All Central Region for the 2018-19 season as announced by the American Collegiate Hockey Association, (ACHA) on Tuesday. 

Colicchio scored a career high 57 points, which included a career best 31-goal season for the Hoosiers this season. 

The 25-year-old forward from River Edge, NJ retires as the second leading scorer in IU Hockey history. 

The first team nominee is the first time an IU player has been honored since the Hoosiers joined the Great Midwest Hockey League (GMHL) in 2014-15. 

The Hoosiers finished the season with a 17-9-3 record and the #13 ranking in the ACHA D2 Central Region rankings, missing out on a regional playoff berth by one ranking.
