The Burlington Cougars are pleased to announce that defenceman Clark Hiebert has been selected as a 1st team All-Prospect for the the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL). The OJHL All-Prospect Team is comprised of 2001 and 2002 birth-year prospects and is selected by the OJHL general managers, as well as an awards committee comprised of one media member in each OJHL market.

Clark Hiebert is in his second season in the OJHL. He’s been impressive. After spending last season with the Milton Icehawks, the 6-foot-2 blueliner moved to Burlington this year in a trade for three players. The 17-year-old scored three goals and added 24 assists this year. He was selected to play in the Eastern Canada Cup Challenge last fall. He played minor hockey for his hometown AAA Oakville Rangers. Hiebert was a ninth-round pick of the Guelph Storm in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection.

Congratulations from all of #CougarCountry, Clark!
