2025-2026 D1 Schedule Released
Date: Jul 7, 2025
Friday night the Lions took on the Princeton Tigers in the Colonial States Quarterfinals at Loucks Ice Arena in Lawrenceville. TCNJ would jump on Princeton early as they would get goals from captain Will Dimock, Matt Lojewski and a power play goal from Kris Hastings to take a 3-0 lead into the locker room. The second period would see the Lions with a bunch of chances but the period would be scoreless until the Tigers would make it a two goal game off of a Lions turnover, JP Kelly would answer shortly after with a seeing eye shot from the point to restore the 3 goal lead and the second period would end with TCNJ up 4-1. In the third Princeton would get back to within two with a power play goal but Mike Lojewski would shut the door after that and Dan Martin would seal the game with an empty net goal for a 5-2 win. Lojewski was very good in net as he finished with 27 saves. The Lions would advance on to play the University of Pennsylvania on Saturday at 5:30pm in the semifinals.
