The Markham Royals (23-17-2-4) are hoping to continue their winning ways in 2019 going into the weekend where they will play 3 games in a matter of 4 days. First up on Thursday night, the Royals will visit the divisional rivals Stouffville Spirit (11-32-0-3), on Friday the Newmarket Hurricanes (22-17-2-5) will take a visit to The Kingdom for yet another divisional match up. Finally on Sunday afternoon, the Lindsay Muskies (8-35-0-4)  will visit from their new home in the East Division to face The Royals.

The Royals are coming off a 2-1 win from last Saturday, when they faced the Pickering Panthers, while Stouffville is coming off a 3-2 loss at home against the Newmarket Hurricanes.

This will be the Royals and Muskies first and only match up of the season. The Muskies are coming off a tough 11-2 loss against the Trenton Golden Hawks.

As for the Hurricanes, they are hot on the Royals tail, just one point behind the top spot in the Northern Division. They are coming off of a win against the Stouffville Spirit and the last meeting between the two ended in a 1-0 loss for the Royals. Markham will be looking at a big weekend where if they can take the victory, they will give themselves a little separation at the top.

The action will go down starting Thursday night in Stouffville for a 7:30pm puck drop, then back at the Kingdom on Friday for a 7:30pm puck drop vs the Hurricanes, and finally back at the Kingdom on Sunday afternoon for a 1:30pm start.
