MARKHAM, ON; FEB 01: Coming off of a tough loss from the visiting Trenton Golden Hawks on Wednesday January 30th, the Markham Royals (23-16-2-4) are looking to bounce back this weekend when they will play two games. On Friday night the boys will take on the Pickering Panthers (17-26-0-1) once again at home, then on Saturday the two teams will engage for one last time this regular season at the Pickering Recreation Centre.

The Royals will be looking to get back into the win column after a tough outing against the Trenton Golden Hawks this past Wednesday afternoon, while the Pickering Panthers are coming off that loss to the Royals back on Sunday January 27th.

The last meeting between these two teams was action packed and fought out till the end in a 4-2 win for the Markham Royals. After Alessio Luciani scored his 26th of the season, and Luca Esposito jamming one in the back of the net to put the boys up 3-1 going into the third period, the Panthers had made it a close one goal game. However, after Matthew Hubbarde's third period goal, the boys had it in the bag and took the 4-3 win over the Panthers.

Game time on Friday night in Markham is scheduled for 7:30pm start, while Saturday night in Pickering is scheduled for 8:30pm start.
