OTTAWA, ON – The Canadian Lacrosse Association (CLA) is currently accepting applications for players with the Canadian Men's Indoor Lacrosse National team that will compete at the 2019 FIL World Indoor Lacrosse Championship in Langley, B.C.

AVAILABILITY

All candidates would be required to attend events during the dates listed below:

  • September 16-28, 2019 (Langley, B.C.)

No training camp will be held prior to the 2019 FIL World Indoor Lacrosse Championship.  

ELIGIBILITY

All applicants must meet the FIL's Player Eligibility Requirements, which can be accessed through the link below:

REQUIREMENTS

Athletes applying for the team will be required to sign a CLA National Team Athlete Agreement, which outlines the rules, regulations and policies that they must follow, and meet all anti-doping education and testing requirements set forth by the FIL, CCES and WADA. More information on these topics will be circulated at a later date.

SELECTION PROCESS

The management team and coaching staff will review all player applications and announce the top 35 players on April 1, 2019. All players will be informed by e-mail. The 23 man roster will be announced by May 30, 2019. 

 

The deadline to submit your application is February 3, 2019.
