Connerty re-signs with Cardinals

HAMILTON - The Hamilton Cardinals have re-signed 6’ 4” pitcher Dan Connerty (Richmond Hill).

Last year being Dan’s first season in the IBL saw him with a record of 1-0 with 2 saves and ERA of 3.06 over 14.2 Innings pitched in relief. “It’s easy to forget that Dan only gave up 1 earned run in his first 10 appearances in the league. Then he fought a severe back injury to try and play the 2nd half of the year, he was a warrior and great clubhouse leader” said GM Jeff Lounsbury.

With an off season of rehabilitation, strength training and fitness testing Dan looks forward to returning for his 2nd IBL season. "It's great to be returning to Hamilton for the upcoming season playing under Coach Castelli & his staff. I look forward to building upon what we accomplished in 2018, and attempt to bring home a championship for the Cardinals & their fans."

The Hamilton Cardinals are members of Ontario’s most elite baseball league, The Intercounty Baseball League. The 101 year old summer league is one of the oldest baseball leagues in the world, established in 1919.
