Northeast

#1 UMass-Amherst made the long trip to Fort Myers for a clash of the Titans to take on the best team in the Southeast #1 Florida Gulf Coast. They lost both games (5-3 and 3-2) but they were battles.  In the end both teams remain at the top of their regions.  The surprise of the week end came from #29 Bryant that upset #6 Northeastern 1-0 and lost 3-2 to #3 Boston College.  The Northeastern loss and a 10-game win streak has catapulted RPI to the #2 position.  #12 UMass-Lowell made the biggest jump of the top 20 from #16 to #12 after beating Harvard 8-1.  #8 Keene seems to be back on their feet battling to an overtime tie with #5 UNH and revenging a 9-8 last weekend loss to #9 Holy Cross with and 8-0 victory.

Southeast

FGCU finished off there semester with a sweep of then-#7 Miami to put some distance between Penn State and themselves as the semester winds down.  Even though they lost both games, playing FGCU close was enough push Miami up into the top four.  The Redhawks had been stuck in the #7 spot for the previous rankings this season.  The second half of the Top 20 continues to be a game of musical chairs, as every team #11-#20 shuffled around to different positions this week.
