KIM SCORES OJHL KEWL SOUTH-EAST PLAYER OF MONTH HONOURS

December 9, 2018, Mississauga, Ontario – The Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) announced today that Adam Kim (Photo by Ian Dixon / OJHL Images) of the Kingston Voyageurs has been named the Kewl South-East Conference Player-of-the-Month for November after he tallied 19 points during 12 games to lead the entire OJHL. His nine goals included one on the power play, two shorthanded and a pair of game-winners.

In his third season with the Vees the 19-year-old native of Albuquerque, New Mexico leads the team in scoring this year, with 39 points (19G/20A) in 30 games. He was selected to play in last month’s Eastern Canada Cup All-Star Challenge in Trenton.

Kim played minor hockey for the Greater Kingston Frontenacs and a season of Jr. C with the Amherstview Jets before signing with the Voyageurs.

Eric Ciccolini of Toronto Jr. Canadiens was the was runner-up to Kim as the South-East Conference Player-of-the-Month. The Vaughan native had 11 points, including six goals, in eight games. Two of his goals were game-winning markers.

Committed to the University of Michigan, Ciccolini is one of eight OJHL players at the World Jr. A Hockey Challenge in Bonnyville, Alberta this week.
