The New Tecumseth Civics are proud to announce the signing of forward Johnny Beaulieu for the remainder of the 2018-2019 season.

Beaulieu the 1998 born junior hockey veteran from Amaranth, Manitoba will be joining the Civics after 3 years playing for the Fisher Rivers Hawks Junior B team in the Keystone Junior Hockey League (KJHL).

Last season Johnny was teammates with current Civics forward Tristan Shorting and was known as quite the established scorer during his time in Fisher River, over the course of 59 games played from 2015-2018 he was more than a point per game player putting up 48 goals and 48 assists for 94 points.

Civics Assistant GM Jordan Richardson had this to say about the addition, “Johnny is someone we expect to come in and make a difference offensively. He has great hockey IQ and nose for the puck, his stats in Fisher River were no fluke and we expect more of the same here in New Tecumseth especially with the chemistry he already has with Tristan, we are very excited to have Johnny joining us.

Beaulieu will be making his Civics debut against the Temiscaming Titans on December 6th, and from all of us in Civic Nation we are very excited to have you join us.
