COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Buckeyes come off the weekend with a split. They defeated University of Dayton Friday night, however, fell short to Bowling Green University on Saturday.

The Buckeyes took on the University of Dayton Friday night at Kettering Recreational Center. The final score of the game was 6-5. Nick Schantz lead the Buckeye offense with two goals, one being the game winner. Lewis, Shimko, Hoy, and Sondej also added one goal each. Nick Schantz was named the first star of the game, and Tyler Brady was rewarded the third star.

Following Friday night’s win, the Buckeyes took on Bowling Green University. Unfortunately, the Buckeyes fell short and lost 4-3. Goals came from Walsh, Golias, and Pontasch. Despite the loss, the boys enjoyed a fun Alumni game.

Next time you see the Buckeyes, it will be the new year. They are set to take on Michigan University in a Friday, Saturday away series.
