COLUMBUS, Ohio — This past weekend the Buckeyes beat Xavier University both Friday and Saturday night, improving season record to an impressive 7-4-0.

The final score of Friday’s game vs. Xavier University was 6-2 for the Buckeyes. Walsh lead the Buckeye offense with two goals, while Shimko, Segarra, Malinak, and Hoy added one goal each.

The score of Saturday night’s game was left tied at 2-2 after three periods of play. In OT the Buckeyes came out on top with a goal from Lewis, assisted by Gross. Also adding goals was Hoy and Schepflin, with assists coming from Brady and Lewis.

Notably, both Jordan Hoy and Thomas Walsh lead the Buckeye scoring this season with eight goals each and three assists to total 11 points each. Also with 11 points is Nick Schantz, with six goals and five assists. Following shortly behind is both Samuel Gross and Tyler Brady with ten points each.

The Buckeyes are off this weekend in honor of Thanksgiving. Their next scheduled game is Friday, November 30th at home against Dayton University.
