1 - Fields are closed today from weekend rain.  Tryouts are pushed back and there is not a tryout or practice option for today as the HF Academy is fully occupied.

    4 - Each player should attend ONE tryout Ideally your current practice time for current HF players).

HF Spring/Summer Overview

 

It is important to know what you are trying out for every step of your baseball journey and this Spring/Summer is no exception. 

Please read below for details prior to HF tryouts…

 

1. The Spring/Summer session is from Feb – July (a total of 6 months)
2. Teams will practice an average of 8 times per month, 4 indoors at the HF Academy and 4 outdoors at the Fallon Sports Complex in Dublin.
3. Teams will play 2 tourneys per month.
4. The average monthly cost is $375
5. There is a new payment structure, with a lower monthly payment and an initial payment to cover the administrative costs involved with creating new teams…

1. Monthly cost is now $350
2. Initial cost (including the Feb payment) is $500
3. New players also have a uniform cost, which is $120 and includes game cap, team jersey and HF dri-fit with last name on the back.

 

14U Tryout Overview

14U 8th Graders

           Step 2:  Spring Placement - Players will be placed on their Spring teams, which will be for Feb, Mar, Apr, May,  

           Step 3:  Summer/Fall Placement - Players will be placed based on Spring performance, etc.  Offers will go out to players throughout the Spring and this commitment is for Summer (Jun, Jul) AND Fall (Sept, Oct, Nov) with August being an off month.  

           Spring Cost:  Average monthly cost is $375

14U 9th Graders

           Step 2:  Summer/Fall Placement - Players will be placed after the tryout and this commitment is for Summer (Jun, Jul) AND Fall (Sept, Oct, Nov) with August being an off month.  This is the HF Upper Division model and commitment.    

           Summer/Fall Cost – General cost of $375/month but summer is increased price to cover travel - $150 broken up over both months, making it an average of $450/month 

            Pay Schedule – Initial fee of approximately $525 will make the monthly cost around $300.  ALL UPPER DIVISION TEAMS PAY THEIR DUES DURING THE SPRING, AND PRIOR TO THE SUMMER, SO THERE IS THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF RELIABILITY IN TERMS OF TEAMS, TRAVEL, ETC.  Details will come later.

           * For those who do not play in high school this year, you will shift to the 14U 8th Graders model described above.
