HAMILTON - Bernie Arbour Memorial Stadium is getting a new name starting next year.
Under a five-year agreement with CARSTAR Canada, the Hamilton-based company purchased the naming rights to Bernie Arbour Memorial Stadium beginning Jan. 1 for $50,000.
The stadium will be renamed CARSTAR Field at Bernie Arbour Memorial Stadium. Hamilton councillors approved the agreement at their Sept. 26 meeting.
