Indiana splits series against Bradley with loss on Saturday

Peoria, IL-- The Indiana Hoosiers concluded their two-game series against Bradley University with a 3-2 loss on Saturday in Peoria. The win for the Braves (3-2-1), drops IU to 2-1-1.

Following a scoreless first period, the Braves scored the first pair of goals of the game at the three minute and 7:28 marks in the second period.

IU tied the game on goals by sophomore defensemen Scott Berger and Colan Fitzgerald with just over six minutes remaining in the second.

The Braves tallied the game winning goal with 2:10 remaining in the third to bolster their lead to 3-2, securing Bradley's third win of the season.

IU goaltender Stephen Gaisor receives his first loss in regulation this season.

The Hoosiers return to action on Friday, in their home opener against Wright State at Frank Southern Ice Arena.
