LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Lafayette Aviators are happy to announce the return of Brent McNeil as Field Manager of the baseball club. Brent previously served as Field Manager of the Aviators in their 2016 inaugural season and in 2017, when he brought home the Prospect League Championship in just the team’s second season.

“We’re thrilled to have Brent back with the team. Not only does he have a history of producing a great product on the field, but he is also a local guy – having played his high school ball for Jeff High School, right here at Loeb Stadium. It really is a perfect fit,” said Zach Chartrand, General Manager.

Of his return, Brent stated: "I am very excited to be back with the Lafayette Aviators and want to thank the organization for the opportunity to return. I have a tremendous amount of pride in Lafayette and it is an absolute pleasure recruiting talented college players from around the nation to share our city with for the summer. The goal, as always, is to recruit the best talent and to help coach, motivate and develop these players for 60+ games and give them a great experience so they go back to their colleges a better player than when they came to us. In my two seasons with the team we have not only won a championship and had some really great players, but we have had 8 players and counting move on to professional baseball. I am looking forward to continuing that trend and bringing high quality baseball to our Lafayette Aviators fans all summer long."
