The Lancers played an out of division pre-season game tonight vs the Mitchell Hawks at Komoka Arena.

Puck drop was at 7:15pm. After the first period the game remained scoreless, 0-0.

The 2nd period was when the scoring action began. Mitchell scored 1 minute and 39 seconds into the period to make it 1-0. The Hawks second goal came at 15:48 to make it 2-0. They then tallied on a 3rd at 13:41 and a 4th at 6:13. The Hawks came out on top at the end of the 2nd, 4-0.

The Lancers continued to have trouble scoring in the 3rd and the Hawks tallied one more goal (15:23) to make the FINAL score 5-0.

The Lancers hope to bounce back in their 2nd pre-season game on Saturday night (Aug 18th) versus the Wallaceburg Lakers at Komoka Arena at 7:15pm.
