CAMBRIDGE, ON - The Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) has announced its 2018 postseason schedule. The regular season concluded Sunday, August 5th, and the postseason will begin Wednesday, August 8 with the quarter-finals. Kitchener hosts Brantford, London welcomes Hamilton, and Guelph visits Toronto.

The Barrie Baycats open defence of their title Thursday against Burlington. Barrie finished first in the regular season and heads into playoffs on a 13-game win streak. The Baycats are looking to win a fifth consecutive IBL championship, which hasn't been done since Brantford won six straight from 2008-13.
