CLIPPERS IMPROVE TO 3-2

The Windsor Clippers defeated the Wallaceburg Red Devils 6-5 on Thursday night at home to move within two points of the division lead. The win improves the Clippers to 15-3 on the season, while the Wallaceburg Red Devils sit at 16-3 on the season. The three Red Devils losses all came at the hands of the Clippers.
Chase Kavanaugh scored his third goal of the night with 1:05 remaining in the third period to break a 5-5 tie, and the Clippers held on for the win. Brendan Wallace, Nathan Salaris and Brayden Mayea rounded out the Clippers scoring. Carson Hebner was rock solid in goal for the Clippers stopping 40 of 45 Red Devils shots to earn the victory.
The Clippers hit the road to close out the 2018 regular season with a game on Saturday night in Owen Sound, and in Guelph on Sunday afternoon.
The first round of the playoff will be announced after the weekend.
