BEN ABRAM FIRES NO HITTER IN 6-0 VICTORY

RHP Ben Abram rolled through seven innings Saturday morning at King's College with a complete game no hitter. Ben struck out seven enroute to a 6-0 win over the London Badgers (17). 
 
The Terriers put the game away with a six run rally in the bottom of the third. 
 
With one out, Dylan Whittaker laced a single to left, then promptly stole second. He advanced to third on Ryan O'Halloran's infield single, then scored on a pass ball. The inning continued after Austin Gomm and DJ Johnson both walked. With the bases now loaded, Max Von Gemmingen stepped‎ in and nailed a two RBI single to the gap, scoring O'Halloran and Gomm. DJ, Max and Nolan Gallo scored later in the inning to complete the six run outburst. 
 
The game was also highlighted‎ by several excellent defensive plays by SS Ryan O'Halloran and 3B George Tsiflikiotis. 
 
In game two Cristian Forgione and Austin ‎Gomm both hit massive homers to right center field in a 6-2 Terriers victory. Lefty Pierce Mo‎ntgomery went six strong innings on the mound and got credit for the win. Sebastian Santos got the final three outs in the seventh. 
 
The series continues on Sunday.
