For Immediate Release

The Windsor Clippers seven game winning streak came to an end at home tonight with a loss to the defending national champions Orangeville Northmen 10-7. The Clippers started out great, scoring on each of their first two shows to go up 2-0 early, but penalty trouble caused the Clippers to give up five unanswered goals in the rest of the first period, and played from behind the rest of the night.

Chase Kavanaugh led all Clippers scorers with 2 goals and 4 assists for a six point night. Brayden Mayea scored 2 goals and added four assists. Singles were scored by Darian Delisle, Kolton Couvillon and Blain Wallace. Carson Hebner took the loss in goal for the Clippers.

The Clippers will travel to Wallaceburg on Sunday for an afternoon tilt with the Red Devils. Game time is at 4:00 pm.
