Festivities Will be Headlined by Two Fireworks Nights, a Memorial Day Bash, Performances by Flounder, a Burger & Beer Fest, and Military Appreciation Night. Celebration Activities Also Include Schedule Magnets and American Flag Giveaways along with Community Recognition.

Little Falls, NJ – The New Jersey Jackals announce "explosive" plans to commemorate the unofficial start of summer with two of America's most revered traditions, Opening Day and Memorial Day Weekend. The Jackals' first ever Memorial Day Weekend will boast an electric blend of baseball, Americana, sights, sounds, tastes and community spotlighting. Jackals’ players will personally extend a warm welcome to everybody as they collect tickets before each of the first two games on the weekend. In addition, everyone will get to experience Yogi Berra Stadium's brand new, fan-friendly renovations including the venue's first-ever HD video board, the Fork in the Road beer pub and a kid zone.

Taking place on Friday, May 25th against the Québec Capitales (gates open at 6:00 PM, first pitch: 7:05 PM), the first 500 fans in attendance will receive a FREE magnet schedule courtesy of State Fair Meadowlands. Following the game, everyone will get to take in the Jackals' first-ever opening night fireworks show.

Opening Day will be followed by the Jackals' epic Memorial Day Bash on Saturday the 26th (gates open at 5:00 PM, first pitch: 6:05 PM). This fun-filled, patriotic party will feature captivating entertainment and scrumptious food and drinks. Before the game, an Honor Guard from the Teaneck Fire Department will present the colors. The first 900 fans in attendance will receive an American Flag. Local rock band Flounder will perform sets before and after the game. Anyone with a ravenous appetite or thirst can get their fix at the Jackals' Beer & Burger Fest that will feature a variety of decadently delicious specialty burgers and $5 ice cold craft beers. Following the game, fans can kick back and enjoy post-game fireworks that will be a mind-blowing pyrotechnic kaleidoscope.

Rounding out Memorial Day Weekend activities is Military Appreciation Night (gates open 1:00 PM, first pitch: 2:05 PM). In this salute to our country's armed services, all veterans with proof of service will get free admission.
