ELITE LEAGUE FIXTURES RELEASED FOR 2018/19
Date: Jul 22, 2018
Coventry Blaze have swooped to secure the services of 21-year-old British forward Alex Forbes.
The Scottish born winger spent seven seasons in North America, with the Ontario Hockey Academy Mavericks Minor Midget programme and then the Ogden Mustangs, before joining Milton Keynes last summer.
Forbes appeared in 53 Elite League games for the Lightning, as well as eight Challenge Cup games.
Blaze Head Coach Danny Stewart was delighted to be able to add Forbes to his 2018/19 roster:
“We wanted to add to our British group of players and signing Alex provides us with more depth and a capable guy.
“Alex is a work horse. He has a great attitude and wants to get better. He plays with grit and I believe has the potential to get a lot better only being 21 years-old. He had a good first season at the pro level last year and will be much better prepared on what to expect this season. We are excited to work with Alex this season and thrilled to have him as part of our club.”
