The Windsor Clippers closed out their preseason with a pair of losses at the Orangeville tournament.
The Clippers lost the opening game 9-6 to the Orangeville Northman. Brayden Mayea scored twice for the Clippers, with singles by James Morgan, Jake Rosa, Josh Rosa and Chase Kavanaugh.
In the second game the Clippers fell 7-4 to the Elora Mohawks. Brendan Wallace scored twice for Windsor, with singles by Jake Rosa and Chase Kavanaugh.
The Clippers open up the regular season on Thursday night with a road trip to London to face the Blue Devils. The Clippers home opener is Saturday night against the Elora Mohawks. Game time is 7:00 pm at Forest Glade Arena.
