For one week in July every year, Edmonton, Alberta becomes the center of the hockey universe for youth hockey players at the 10U age level. The Brick Invitational is the most prestigious event for youth hockey players in that age group. Tournament alumni Conor Sheary, Matt Hunwick, Daniel Sprong and Tristan Jarry. The Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation and the Philadelphia Flyers are sponsors of the team and this year, there is a heavy Western Pennsylvania presence on the roster. The team is composed of nine Pens Elite players and several other players from Pennsylvania as well as three imports—players who are from out of state—or even out of the country!
