Dakota Lumberjacks Start Strong for a New Season

ACHA Women’s Division II Names 2018 All-Tournament Teams
TROY, Mich. – March 21, 2018 – The American Collegiate Hockey Association’s Women’s Division II (W2) today announced the First and Second All-Tournament teams from the 2018 National Championships. Throughout the tournament, these players stood out as playmakers on the ice, major contributors on the scoreboard, and overall strong competitors.

A total of 21 games were played by 12 teams during the five-day W2 National Tournament. What kicked off as three days of pool play, was quickly narrowed down to four teams for the two semi-final matchups: Lakehead University vs. Bishops University; and Minot State University vs. North Dakota State University. Ultimately, Lakehead University beat Minot State University in the championship game on Sunday, March 18.
This is the second time, and second year in a row, that Lakehead University has finished their ACHA season as a Women’s Division II National Champion.
