Hello Lehigh Valley Phantoms Youth Mite Families,

Attached you will find information regarding the 2018-2019 Lehigh Valley U8 Developmental League as well as the Phantoms Youth Travel program.   As many of you know, last year was the first year of the refurbished U8 program here in the Lehigh Valley and we had a great deal of success at both the travel and developmental levels. When we rolled out the program last year we anticipated 50 kids in year one, but were pleasantly surprised to have over 70 players enrolled last season.   

Based on feedback we received throughout the year and to help accommodate for the large increase in numbers we have made some really great changes to the program for year two.  This includes splitting the kids into different divisions for more competitive practices and games, and then also doubling the ice allocated to the program so their are less kids on the ice at once and everyone is receiving more focused instruction.  The team coaches, skill coaches, and the organization are very excited to see the impact these changes will have on the program and the continued growth of the ice hockey in the Lehigh Valley.
