ELITE EDGE PARTNERS WITH KOHARSKI CAMP

Date:  Source: Elite Edge Hockey

For the past 12 years Elite Edge Hockey Showcase has been home to top players wanting to advance their games.  This year, Elite Edge will also host some of the top young officials in the country.

Don Koharski Officiating and Development Referees Camp will be hosting a program during the Elite Edge Hockey Showcase - working in alongside to provide officials during camp.  Similar to Elite Edge, the officiating program will be scouted by officials from professional, college and junior leagues with the intention of moving referees and linesmen to the next level in their careers.

"I am excited to partner with a camp as highly regarded as Don Koharski's," said Elite Edge program director Brandon Walker.  "We will provide them a high level of hockey to officiate and I think it will only benefit our players and program in the long run."

Koharski himself was a long-time NHL official - working more than 1,700 regular season and 248 playoff games.  He also worked 13 Stanley Cup finals, two all-star games, two Canada Cups and the 2004 World Cup.
