Meet the Clippers - Jacob Kieffer

Date:  Source: GLCBL: Muskegon Clippers

Jacob Kieffer is a native of Bolingbrook, Illinois where he enjoyed a very successful prep career at Bolingbrook High School. Upon graduation, Jacob enrolled at Concordia University before transferring in the fall of 2017 to Alcorn State University in Lorman, Mississippi where he is studying business. Due to his transfer, Jacob will not be eligible to compete for the Braves in the 2018 season. As a result, the hard-throwing right-hander is anxious to get back on the mound and compete against hitters this summer wearing the Clippers' uniform.

Born on November 7, 1997, Jacob is the son of Jeff and Kim Kieffer and has an older sister Abby. Good pitching runs in the family as Jacob's cousin is Tyler Alexander who pitched at national power Texas Christian University and is now pitching in the Detroit Tigers organization. The entire Clipper family extends a warm welcome to Jacob.
