Tritons Return From Perfect Game in PHX

During the MLK weekend in Phoenix, Perfect Game hosts an annual Upper/Underclassmen tournament that is a great opportunity for players to showcase their talents and prepare themselves for the upcoming season. The Tritons were thankful to be apart of the first ever Milwaukee Brewers Scout Team Canada event.

The following Tritons players took part:

Upperclass: Cameron Dunn RHP, Steven Lin C, Jon Klassen INF, Jackson Hogg CF/INF, Ewen Hall RHP/UTIL

Underclass: Corbin Smith OF/RHP, Connor Schneider RHP, Brendan Patterson RHP/1B

Ryan Dauphinee SS/RHP also attended the event and enjoyed his experience.

Ran by GM Marty Lehn in accordance with the Big League Experience, the players that participated were coached by the following staff:

  • Marty Lehn: Scout for Milwaukee Brewers, Owner of BLE, Former Team Canada Coach
  • Albie Lopez: 12-Year Big League Pitcher, World Series Champ 2001
  • Shea Hillenbrand: 2-time All-Star Third Baseman, .284 Career Avg. with 108 HRs and 490 RBI
  • Kyle Dhanani: 5+ years in professional baseball as infielder, drafted by Brewers in 2009, Tritons HC
  • Joe Sergent: 11-year professional left-handed pitcher, drafted 1999 by Florida Marlins, Okotoks Dawgs WMBL Pitching Coach
  • Bob Didier: Owner of 5 World Series rings as coach/scout, 5-year MLB catcher
  • Eddie Marin: HC Mel Didier Blue Jays Scout Team, Mesa CC Director
