This season the Montclair State University Women's Hockey team is off to their best start in team history. After defeating Loyola on Sunday afternoon, the Hawk's moves to a 4-0-0 DVCHC league record and a 6-0-0 record overall. Led offensively by Brittany Meneghin with 15 goals and 10 assists through 6 games, the team is putting up staggering offensive numbers. Defensively, Mikhaela Schultz (8 goals 11 assists), Alex Tepper (4 goals 11 assists), Amanda Peterson (2 goals 7 assists) and Lexie Montez ( 1 goal 6 assists) lead the way to a staggering 10 shot against average per game.
Victoria Nicolosi, Nora Fogarty, Kristen Iattarelli, and Harper Sanderson have also played a part in an offensive machine that has produced 65 goals in 6 games this season. Kaye Ferguson has had a perfect record in net this season bolstering the team's solid performance this season. The Red Hawks will face a DVCHC opponent Villanova in back to back games at home this weekend.
