BEN ABRAM MOWS DOWN 11 IN SEMI- FINAL WIN

Terriers 18U ace right-hander Ben Abram marched out to the mound for today's semi-final at Sal Maglie Stadium in the To‎urnament of Champions in Niagara Falls NY. A win would give the Terriers an opportunity to repeat as champions. Ben did not disappoint.
Abram struck out 11 Buffalo ADPro hitters and the offense supplied plenty of support in a 10-1 Terriers win. 
 
‎Dylan Whittaker and Nolan Gallo got it going in the top of the first with back to back singles. They both crossed on Nick Parsons RBI double later in the inning for a 2-0 Terriers lead. 
Parson‎s went to third after Ryan O'Halloran smacked a single through the 3-4 hole, then scored on Dylan Johnson's RBI ground out to make it 3 zip.
 
In the top of the fifth Whittaker got another rally started with a lead off walk. After swiping second he scored on a George Tsiflikiotis ‎bullet RBI single that alluded the Buffalo short- stop. 
Next in was the red hot Nick Parsons who delivered a liner to left center for an RBI, cashing Tsiflikiotis.
 
The Terriers completely put the game away in the top of the seventh with five more runs. The highlight of the inning was a towering two RBI double by Sawan Bhatnagar‎ that sailed over the left fielder's head and scored Ryan O'Halloran and Dylan Johnson.
Max Von Gemmingen and Christian Forgione‎ also had hits in this contest. 
 
The Terriers will face the unbeaten Niagara Thunderwolves in the final.
