ONC Announces Head Coaches for 2018 Season

The Ottawa Nepean Canadians are pleased to announce Jonathan Dale as the 18U Manager for 2018. Jon brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the position.  After a year with the Ottawa White Sox (2001), Jon played for ONC (2002-2004), attending Mitchell College on scholarship as a shortstop.  He returned to Carleton University to further his education and played for the Ravens (2004-2007), winning a National CIBA award for university top hitter.  In 2010, Jon joined the Ottawa Fat Cats team of the Intercounty Baseball League, playing with them for 2 years.  He has coached with ONC for several years as a hitting coach, instructing at our camps, and as an 18U assistant coach for 5 seasons (2012-2016).

Mike Tokessy will continue as 16U Manager, entering his 3rd season with ONC.

Bill Carkner will take on the role of15U Manager for 2018. Also an ONC alumni (2001-2002), Bill was an assistant coach with the successful ONC 15U team in the 2017 season and has coached in the Ottawa area for several years.

After 10 seasons on-field with ONC as a coach, the last as the 18U manager, Matt Dubord hands over the 18U reins to Jon.  After careful consideration, Matt leaves to pursue career opportunities.  Thanks to Matt for all of his contributions, on and off the field, and his dedicated years of coaching.
