Little League Alberta District #1 is pleased to announce that Fall Ball is returning for the Fall 2017 season. This league is available to all the players in District #1 and provides an opportunity for more playing time in a year. The cost of registration is $100.00 per youth. Each participant in Fall Ball will receive a shirt jersey and hat for their team to keep, and is required to provide pants, cleats/runners, etc. Deadline to register will be August 10, 2017.

We will run a community level of play with teams generally playing 2 games per weekend in their local area with some limited travel an option for the team. Fall Ball will run from end of August to middle of October as long as weather cooperates. There will be an evaluation held for each age group at either Canola Harvest or Dave Elton on Tuesday, August 29th at 5PM. Each following Tuesday until Thanksgiving will be a 5PM Division Training Camp, where each age group will have players from the Prairie Baseball Academy giving instruction and running drills, and games will be played on the Saturday of each week.

The age groups for Fall Ball will all be based on the following cut off dates, meaning that you must be at the age or younger that you are playing as of the date.

2017 Age Groupings       -  10 and under  -  September 1, 2017

-  12 and under  -  April 30, 2017

-  14 and under  -  April 30, 2017
