The Pittsfield Suns (18-16-1) couldn't recover after giving up 6 runs in the 6th to the Nashsu Silver Knights (18-18), losing 7-1.

The Suns were in a pitcher's duel until the 6th inning came by. A single by Harry Roberson and an error allowed Ted Williams to score, Andrew Jaehnig hit an RBI single, and Aiden McDermott and Tom Blandini hit back-to-back 2 RBI doubles. Nashua would tack on another run in the 8th with a Ryan Sullivan home run.

The Suns tried to mount a comeback with a bases loaded RBI walk to Hal Hughes, but could not get any other runs.

Lupi got the win. Austin Pope got the loss.

The Elser Animal Control Pest Player of the Game went to Steve Fleury, who pitched a perfect 7th inning while striking out a batter.

The Pittsfield Suns have a double header against the North Shore Navigators on Saturday. Pittsfield's Gage Feeney and Jensen Lewis will start games one and two respectively against North Shore's Austin Michel and Conor Bawiec. Both games will be 7 innings per college baseball rules. Gates will open at 4 PM.
