Bravehearts Welcome Alex Dion to 2018 Coaching Staff

The Pittsfield Suns (15-15-1) exploded offensively, swarming the Nashua Silver Knights (14-16) 9-3.
The Silver Knights drew fire first in the 1st with a 2-run homer to right-center field by Kyle Bonicki.
The Suns would return in the 2nd with a 2 RBI double by Hal Hughes.
Cam Cruz would try to provide more offense with an RBI single in the 4th.
But for the Silver Knights, that's all the runs they would muster. The Suns grabbed 3 more with an RBI double by Andre Marrero, and a 2-run blast by Ryan Arena in the 4th. Greg Cavaliere grabbed another run with a solo shot the just squeaked fair down the right field line.
Gage Feeney (1-0) made his return to Pittsfield and got the win. Mike Curtis (2-2) got the loss.
The Elser Animal Control Pest Player of the Game went to Andre Marrero, who went 4-5 with a double, 2 RBI, and a run scored.
The Pittsfield Suns have a late after noon game at home tomorrow against the Worcester Bravehearts. Worcester's Brian Auerbach will pitch against Pittsfield's Jordan Muchin. First pitch is scheduled for 5 PM.
