Dear Membership,

I’m writing to let you know that the NSIHL is alive and well!  It’s readily apparent after last week’s meeting that the league will be able to secure new board members and interested individuals to help run the league in key areas of management.

The overwhelming consensus was to solicit and expect a greater parent involvement in the day to day running of the league.   We will be detailing the volunteer duties and breaking down exactly what those duties involve so that interested volunteers can make an informed decision on their level of commitment.  These details will include what the roles are at both the league and team level.  After doing this I’m confident that next year will be even better and run smoother than last year with the support of our newly engaged volunteers.  The league’s success is dependent on its volunteer base!

There will be a wrap up year-end email to all 2017 registrants in the next week or so.  It will include a link to a Survey Monkey Questionnaire (main webpage).   I’d encourage parents to take the 10 minutes to fill it out as the feedback is very important in providing direction to the league and its newly engaged board members.  Your concerns and suggestions are encouraged.
