The Pittsfield Suns (12-12-1) were able to hold on after a late rally by the Worcester Bravehearts (11-13), winning 8-7.
The Suns were on the board first thanks to Ryan Arena's 2 run blast in the 2nd inning.
The Bravehearts would tie it up following an RBI ground out by Joseph Caico in the 3rd and RBI double by John Mazza in the 4th.
The Suns would blow the game open with 6 runs in the 6th.
However, The Bravehearts would muster a comeback. They would score a run in the 7th and 4 in the 8th. They saw the tying run reach base, but Brian Rodriguez would close out the win 8-7.
Craig Lacey (1-1) got the win. Maurizio Devita (1-2) got the loss. Brain Rodriguez got his third save of the season. Jake Rockefeller was awarded the hold as well.
The Elser Animal Control Pest Player of the Game went to Ryan Arena, who went 2-3 with a two-run jack and a stolen base.
