BROCKTON, MA—June 29t​ h​, 2017—​The Brockton Rox took home a win on Thursday evening by defeating the Bristol Blues by a score of 10-7. The Rox lineup combined for 12 total hits.

The 5th inning was a big one for the rox as they scored 5 runs to extend the lead to 10-1. Rox players Tommy O’Hara (Tufts University) and Sam Cochrane (Eckerd College) led the way with a combined 5 RBIs . Joe Silva (Concordia) got the Rox going with an opposite field homerun in the 2nd inning. The Rox lineup had production from top to bottom from their lineup tonight. The Bristol Blues would add a 3 run double late in the game by Jake Frasca (Sacred Heart) to make it 10-6.

Kevin Connelly (Framingham State) started the game and pitched great for the Rox. Connelly would go 4 2/3rds allowing no runs. The Rox will head to North Shore tomorrow night to take on the Navigators. The team will return to Campanelli Stadium on Sunday july 9th after an 8 game road trip to play the Nashua Silver Knights.
