The Windsor Clippers took a two games to one edge in the best of five Western conference quarter final game against the Wallaceburg Red Devils with an 11-8 win tonight.
Chase Kavanaugh scored five times and added two assists to pace the Clippers attack. Andrew Garant chipped in with three goals and two helpers, while Dylan Riley scored twice and Jake Rosa added the other Clippers goal.
Joel Evans was solid in goal for the Clippers stopping 33 of 41 shots to earn the win.
Game four of the series will be played in Wallaceburg on Saturday afternoon at 4:00 pm. Should a game 5 be necessary, it will be played back In Windsor on Sunday night at 7:00 pm
