Bravehearts Welcome Alex Dion to 2018 Coaching Staff

BROCKTON, MA—June 24th, 2017—The Brockton Rox took home a win against the North Shore Navigators by a score of 7-2 Saturday night at Campanelli Stadium. The win snaps a three-game losing streak for the Rox.
After a triple by Ricky Smith (Merrimack College) in the bottom of the 2nd inning, the Rox (11-6) scored the first run of the game when Joe Silva (Concordia University) reached base on an infield single. The Rox went on to score three runs in the 5th inning and three more in the 6th. Sam Cochrane (Eckerd College) highlighted the 5th with a 2-RBI single then two runs on wild pitches followed by a RBI double from Nick Cerelli (University of South Florida) in the 6th, rounded out the scoring at seven for the Rox. North Shore scored one run in the top of the 6th off a RBI single from Tyler Kapuscinski (Marist College) and added another in the 8thon a pass ball.
Drake Titus (Army West Point) got the start for the Rox and was dominant. Titus pitched seven full innings, giving up only one run while striking out seven. Conor Bawiec (Elmira College) started for North Shore and pitched five innings, giving up four runs on five hits in the loss.
The Rox return to Campanelli Stadium tomorrow afternoon to take on the Nashua Silver Knights (10-8). First pitch is scheduled for 4:05.
