The Black Wolves have three of the top 10 scorers in Major Series Lacrosse so far, led by Reilly O’Connor. The Black Wolves forward leads the league with 42 points, including 18 points on three goals and four assists in three games for the Brooklin Redmen last week. Black Wolves captain Shawn Evans is tied for second with 32 points. He had 15 points (four goals, 12 assists) in three wins for the Peterborough Lakers, who are undefeated on the season. He is joined on the Lakers by Kyle Buchanan, who is tied for sixth in scoring in the MSL with 29 points. He had 10 goals and five assists in three games for Peterborough last week.

Rounding out the Black Wolves trio with the Lakers is goalie Evan Kirk. In three games, he has 66 saves and a goals-against-average of 8.48.Fellow goalie Doug Jamieson is spending the summer playing Senior A for Six Nations and has 10 wins in 12 games with a goals against average of 5.91. He has saved 364 shots so far on the season.

Also in MSL,  Derek Searle has two points, both assists, in seven games for Coburg. In Western Lacrosse Association action, Sheldon Burns had two points in two games for the Victoria Shamrocks last week. In seven games, he has five points on two goals and three assists. Also out West, Matt Spanger has five points on one goal and two assists in seven games for the Burnaby Lakers. He had one assist in two games last week.

Kevin Crowley had three goals in a 15-14 Charlotte win over Chesapeake in Major League Lacrosse last weekend. In six games for the Hounds, Crowley has 20 points on 14 goals and six assists. Also in MLL play, Kevin Buchanan has eight points on six goals and two assists to go along with 10 ground balls in five games for the Boston Cannons.
