The Voice of the PBL 


The BCPBL is pleased to announce that Ken Keeley has been named the "Voice of the PBL" and will look after announcing all championships at the JPBL and PBL levels. 


Ken will make his debut in Coquitlam, July 20-23, 2017 for the PBL championship hosted by the Reds, and then travel to Victoria the following weekend, July 27-30 to call the games at the JPBL championship in Lambrick Park hosted by the Eagles.


Ken began announcing and score keeping in Penticton as a teenager and later took on many roles in Abbotsford Minor baseball when his two sons Dan and Mike started playing minor baseball. Ken was a coach, umpire and allocator, and helped out with field prep.


Ken has been involved with the Abbotsford Cardinals for over 20 years and has been known as the "Voice of Delair" He has announced at many levels; Nationals, Western Canadians, Provincials and the BC Summer Games. Ken's wife Doreen, and son, Mike are often seen in the booth helping Ken out with the scoreboard and play back.


Ken has enjoyed watching some of the finest baseball players that the PBL has produced from the booth at Delair Park - Justin Moreau, Adam Loewen, Jeff Francis, Michael Saunders, Brett Lawrie, James Paxton. He looks forward to his association with the PBL for many more years.
